So, a funny thing happened to me yesterday. I was watching I Don’t Know How She Does It a few days ago and there’s that scene where Sarah Jessica Parker sings A Bushel and a Peck on the phone to her son. Yesterday I found that song sort of stuck in my head in a somewhat annoying way – you know when you keep humming something in your head and you can’t get rid of it. 🙂 Anyway it took me hours to finally forget it and then we were watching Julie and Julia in the evening and guess what song came on? Yep, this version I uploaded from Doris Day. I have actually seen this movie before, but of course didn’t remember the song. So it was funny. Apparently it’s from Guys and Dolls which I haven’t seen yet (I know, I am ashamed), but I’ve been planning to for a long time.
I also tried to find a link to the SJP version, but I couldn’t. Which is a pity because she and that whole movie was such a pleasant surprise for me. It was so much more than I expected! Watch it!!
