Spread the love

We watched Iron Lady last night. I loved how they used real documentary images in the movie instead of reacting events. The only thing that was bothering me the whole time was the accuracy and truth of the scenes showing the old Lady Thatcher. But then that’s what always bothers me in movies about people who are still alive. They could tell how much of it is actually true.

But in all I liked the movie very much. Although I expected it to focus more on the years she spent in office and less on her failing health, I didn’t get bored for one moment, the story was whirling the whole time. And yes, Meryl Streep is still the best, that goes without saying. 🙂

Still to watch The Descendants which only premieres next week in Hungary. Unlike The Ides of March I could bear not to watch it (and Iron Lady) before, I wanted to see them on the big screen. 🙂
