Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives during the Second World War I did not know about this one, but apparently we also remember victims of World War II this day (8th and 9th May actually).
It’s Europe Day! 62 years ago today, French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman presented the idea and plan to create a supranational European community. This event, commonly known as “The Schuman Declaration”, is considered as the birthday of the European Union.
