The UN Charter turns 70 today (June 26)!
Seventy years ago, San Francisco became the birthplace of global change when 50 nations came together in the Bay area to draft and sign the United Nations Charter, committing to work together to achieve global peace, prosperity and human rights.
On Friday, 26 June 2015, the United Nations, the diplomatic community, the City of San Francisco, business leaders and more will observe the 70th anniversary of the UN at several events.
