Watch the annual ringing of the UN Peace Bell live on Friday at 9 am (NYC time). The Secretary-General and the President of the General Assembly will be joined by the Ambassador of Japan, Messengers of Peace Michael Douglas, Jane Goodall, and Elie Wiesel, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Peace and Reconciliation Forest Whitaker, and UN Foundation Girl Up Champion Monique Coleman, the diplomatic community, NGOs and flag-bearing students.
