16 November is the annual International Day for Tolerance; UN Member States are invited to observe the International Day for Tolerance with activities directed towards both educational establishments and the wider public.
The day marks the anniversary of UNESCO’s founding, and its Member States’ adoption of the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance.
