UN connects well-being and the pursuit of happiness – United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs I was very happy when I learned last year that the UN dedicates a day to Happiness. I always thought all these annual days of UN observances are important because they usually deal with important issues many people would otherwise rarely (if ever) hear of.  The pursuit of happiness as a fundamental human goal is something I wish would be talked about much more in my country. UN discusses Gross National Happiness indicator as successor to Gross Domestic Product UNITED NATIONS — Should happiness figure in a nation’s bottom line? And should the concept of Gross National Product be replaced by Gross National Happiness? I like the idea more and more every day… 🙂
