Könyv: Pilátus (Szabó Magda) “Lehet, hogy ő is meghalt már, csak nem vette még észre? Lehet, hogy az ember hamarabb meghal, mint tudomást szerezne erről?” I couldn’t find an English edition, but it’s available in French, Spanish and German, these are for sure. And maybe other languages. I’m sorry if English is really not one of them, because it’s a life changing experience, I strongly recommend you to read it.

The Door, the movie based on Magda Szabó’s famous novel comes out this week in Hungary directed by Academy Award Winning director István Szabó (no relation, it’s a very common name in Hungary). Recently I was lucky enough to attend a public talk with István Szabó about the movie, the cast, the novel and some background stories.
