The 2017 “Women in Politics” map, created by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and UN Women, depicts global rankings for women in the executive and parliamentary branches of government as of 1 January 2017. united-nations: On Friday the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) launched a new initiative, Free & Equal ,for LGBT equality. All people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, are born free & equal in dignity and rights. The United Nations is here to make it clear that LGBT rights are human rights.
