Sunday Smack

Happy Sunday Everybody! How are you all doing after the first working week of 2015? France’s Open Wound / La Plaie Béante de la France Great, great post about the two sides of this sad story. I myself shared the #jesuischarlie hashtag a few times since the tragic…

Journalists held up their press cards as members of the public silently raised pens in the air in a poignant symbol against what is being seen as an attack on freedom of speech. The phrase “je suis Charlie” (“I am Charlie”) has become a rallying call for people expressing solidarity with the victims around the world, with many Paris protesters wearing the slogan on stickers…

The Interview

I have watched The Interview yesterday and I am now totally sorry for that almost two hours of my life. I do admit I have had one or two laughs along, but that is all, most of the time, I was just waiting for it to be over. I don’t enjoy obscenity, neither in graphic nor in oral form in movies at all. Again, tastes are different, if you enjoy these kinds of things,…

Happy New Year Everybody! Welcome to the first Sunday Smack of 2015, and the 90th altogether! There is a celebration due in ten weeks! 🙂 If I said last week was down time in blogosphere, this one was even “downer”. And I can’t say I am longing to go back to working weekdays either. I guess I’ll feel different about it once I’m back in the saddle already. I have some important career goals for 2015 too! I am thinking of ways to share them here with you all and create a career feature on this page. How would you…
