The world is my hometown

As I was brought up not traveling a lot, and even then not too far from home, it took quite a long time for me to realise that I feel most myself when I am out in the big wide world around the most diverse kind of people. Well, it is not entirely true that we did not travel, because my grandma used to takes us with her visiting her sisters, about 150 kms away (2 hour train ride). And before she grew older, we went quite a lot. We also went on day trips sometimes with my mom and…

My year in travels

I have been noticeably absent from this blog in 2018, which I could easily label the worst year of my life. One of the few highlights though were some traveling experiences that I would like to share here. Hope you’ll enjoy and here’s to a better 2019! 🥂  1. Sunday Smack

Happy Sunday, everyone! This past one turned out to be only a two day working week for me. I was not so politely asked by my not so polite superior to take some days off while she’s going to be in the office, so we are not gonna have to meet. At one point in my forced holiday (that I have spent out of town) I was even grateful for her, feeling that I really needed these days off. Nevertheless, I spent some time thinking about my future in this job where I mostly have to spend 10+ hours per…
