Happy Sunday! October ended just as sad as it started. I just realized that the Las Vegas shooting and the latest attack in New York happened on the first and the last days of last month. I wish there would be no more. Aside from the tragic events, I hope you had a great Halloween week. I cannot believe it’s almost Christmas time, I am hardly over summer’s ending, I am definitely not ready for the holidays yet! Here’s some reading for you now. Hello, November!

Happy November, everybody! I can’t believe there is only eight weeks left of this year, it’s insane. Let’s see what to look forward to this month. Again, I included a couple just for fun. Happy Sunday and happy Halloween, everybody!  We are having a long weekend in Hungary, unfortunately filled with work for me. I can’t believe how quickly we are approaching the end of 2016. Here’s your reading for today. This will not be the end of “The Jungle” One of the…

I recently read a blog post where the author wrote she thought it was quite annoying when bloggers complain about neglecting blogging, while she actually was complaining about just that. I will not do that. I was a little busy this week, that’s all. What have you all been reading about this week? Hope you’ll check out these posts too. Mass Graves, Missing Students, and Mexico’s Long Road to Reform This is something…

November reads

First of all, instead of random book titles once in a while, I decided to do a monthly book recommendation post from now on. November was rather poor for me on that front, with only four full books finished, while I am also making progress with my first ever Spanish language book, and learning a lot. What I read in November included two classics, one Hungarian romance (sort of) and the long anticipated memoirs of former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. Many might find strange that I have never read Lolita and The Great Gatsby before, but in Hungary neither…
